Documentary 70′
A fascinating and often violent journey into the last hundred years of Swazi history. King Mswati III of Swaziland is Africa’s last absolute monarch. He has unrestricted political authority and veto power over all branches of government and is constitutionally immune from prosecution. He has 11 wives, controls the public purse and owns all telecommunications systems. How does one man retain power over the state, the law, the land and its people? The truth is stranger than fiction and it all began with his father, King Sobhuza 111 of Swaziland. A film told by members of the banned democratic opposition.
